How supplements are actually regulated

Dietary supplements in the United States sit under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994, which treats them very differently from medicines. Three consequences follow:

The phrase "FDA approved" appears nowhere on minndhoney.com, because for a dietary supplement it would not be true. We also excluded an "FDA APPROVED" badge that came with this product's artwork, for exactly that reason.

Cognitive claims and where the line sits

This category attracts the worst claims in the supplement industry, so it is worth being explicit about the boundary we work inside. Mind Honey is described here as supporting memory, focus, everyday brain energy and antioxidant defence in healthy adults. That is structure and function language, phrased as the law requires: supports, helps maintain, is designed to support.

What we do not say:

On reviewers and by-lines

Pages in this category often carry a "medically reviewed by Dr. [Name]" by-line. Unless that person is real, credentialed, and has genuinely reviewed the page, it is a fabricated endorsement. There is no such by-line on this site, because we do not have a physician reviewing it and we are not going to imply that we do.

Testimonials and the FTC

FTC guidance is that a testimonial does not tell a reader what a typical user will experience, and that is stated wherever testimonials appear here. We publish no star average and no customer count, because neither figure would be independently verifiable.

The ingredient list

We do not publish a Supplement Facts panel on this site and we say why in plain words on the homepage: formulas get revised, and only the panel on your bottle is guaranteed to describe your bottle. We would rather be judged on that honesty than publish a list we cannot stand behind.

Affiliate disclosure

minndhoney.com is operated independently. It is not the manufacturer's website and we do not represent ourselves as the manufacturer.

If you click an order link on this site and complete a purchase, we may be paid a commission by the retailer. Your price is identical either way — arriving through this page costs you nothing extra and saves you nothing either. That commission pays for the research, writing, design and hosting behind these pages.

Having a commercial interest is not a licence to overstate. Serving size, capsule count, guarantee terms and pricing here are what we believe accurate at the time of writing, and where a figure cannot be verified we say so rather than fill the gap.

Trademarks

Mind Honey and any other product names or logos shown here belong to their respective owners. Their use identifies and describes a product; it does not imply endorsement of this website.

Reporting an adverse reaction

If a dietary supplement causes a serious adverse reaction, stop taking it, seek medical attention, and report it to the FDA MedWatch programme at fda.gov/safety/medwatch. Public reports are a large part of how problems in this industry surface.
